Concealed carry training program
For people who carry to protect their family: sessions shot from concealment, with the holster you carry in, toward a standard you can measure.
NES Defense is a firearms training program you run at any range: 4 months of structured pistol training, with a printed plan, dedicated targets and a clear standard for every session. You carry a gun to protect your family. This is how you train the skill behind it.
Most people who own a handgun own it for one reason. In a 2023 national survey, 79% of gun owners named protection as their most important reason for owning a gun. For many, it starts the day a child is born.
But owning a gun is not the same as being ready to use it. If someone is in your home at night, the police are minutes away: in New York City, the average response to critical crimes in progress was over 9 minutes in fiscal 2025. Until they arrive, the person your family is counting on is you.
A permit class and the occasional range trip don't build that kind of skill. A plan does.
NES gives every range day a purpose: a printed plan, a dedicated target set and a standard to hit. It all comes together in one concealed carry training program: 4 months, 4 levels, at any range you choose.

Every track follows the same 4 levels to the same NES STANDARD. The difference is how many rounds and sessions you run each month.
Split into up to 3 payments. Every track includes a month of coaching support and NES MEMBER for life.
One program, three ways in. Every one of them runs at your own range and ends at the NES STANDARD.
For people who carry to protect their family: sessions shot from concealment, with the holster you carry in, toward a standard you can measure.
For every handgun owner, new owners included: grip, sight picture, trigger press and draw, built and measured from LEVEL 1 CALIBRATION.
For armed citizens who want to perform under pressure: draws from concealment, called targets and multiple silhouettes, on the PRO and DIAMOND tracks.
Online is how you get the plan. The training happens at the range.
CORE, PRO or DIAMOND, by how many rounds you shoot in a month. One payment covers all 4 months.
Log in to your member area and download the session's training plan and its dedicated targets.
Follow the plan drill by drill, measure every stage and see exactly where you stand.
Mark the session done, and the next one opens the Sunday after. Every month, you move up a level.
The printable plans and targets are in English. Each session also has a short training video, which for now is in Hebrew; English videos are on the way.
NES was founded in Israel, where more and more civilians began to carry and kept asking the same question: what should I actually practice, and how do I know I am getting better?
We built the answer together with operators from Israeli special forces units who have fought in active combat, and wrote it for people with jobs and families: short, planned sessions at a regular range, each with a standard you can measure. Today more and more armed citizens and ranges across Israel train with the NES method.
The fundamentals of shooting are the same everywhere. The laws are not, so NES teaches skills, never law. Our goal is the same everywhere: raise the standard of the armed citizen.

Drills, a printable target and plain guides, no purchase needed.

About NES Defense firearms training: what it is, where you train, what it costs.
NES Defense is a firearms training program you run at any range. You get a 4-month pistol training plan, printable targets for every session and a clear goal at the end: the NES STANDARD. It was built in Israel and is now available in the US, priced in US dollars.
Yes, wherever you are. NES is not tied to one range: you print the plan and the targets and run the session at the range you already use. Before your first session, ask your range whether it allows drawing from a holster and rapid fire, because some sessions call for both.
No. NES does not replace your state's permit or CCW course, and it does not give you a license or a certificate. It is the ongoing training that comes after the permit class, or the training your state never required. For what a CCW class covers, see our separate guide.
Yes. LEVEL 1 measures where you stand and builds from there, at your own pace and with no one looking over your shoulder. Because no instructor watches you shoot, if you are brand new we recommend you also take an in-person basic class.
CORE is $299, PRO is $359 and DIAMOND is $449: a one-time payment for all 4 months, which you can split into up to 3 payments. The tracks differ in rounds and sessions a month: up to 200, 350 or 500 rounds.
The printable plans and targets are in English. Each session also has a short training video, and for now those videos are in Hebrew. English videos are on the way.
